This Privacy Policy describes how iClasser LLC ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and shares information when you use Tekka, our online card game, including the mobile apps, website, leaderboards, and related services (collectively, the "Service").
By using the Service, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
We may collect the following types of information:
- Account information. When you sign in (for example with Google or Apple), we receive information from your account provider such as your name and profile photo. We store these internally to identify your account. You are also assigned a unique username in the game; this username is not publicly displayed on the website but may appear in gameplay and leaderboard features inside the app.
- Gameplay and leaderboard data. We collect information about how you play, including match results, scores, rankings, wins and losses, and other statistics used for leaderboards, matchmaking, and game history.
- Online play data. When you play online with other players, we process data needed to run matches, such as your seat, moves, connection status, and in-game actions.
- Device and usage information. We may collect device type, operating system, app version, language, general location (such as country or region derived from your IP address), crash logs, and how you interact with the Service. Our analytics and measurement partners may also collect device identifiers, install and session data, and in-app events (see section 4 below).
- Push notification data. If you enable push notifications in the mobile app, we collect your push subscription identifier, device push token, platform, app version, locale, device model, and operating system version so we can deliver notifications to your device. This data is processed through OneSignal, our push notification provider, and linked to your account when you are signed in.
- Advertising data. If we show ads in the Service, we and our advertising partners may collect or receive advertising identifiers, cookie data, and information about ad impressions and interactions to deliver and measure ads.
2. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service
- Enable online multiplayer play and sync game state between players
- Display leaderboards, rankings, and player statistics
- Create and manage your account
- Improve gameplay, fix bugs, and develop new features
- Measure app installs, sessions, and in-app activity (for example which game modes you open) to understand how the Service is used and improve marketing and product decisions
- Detect fraud, abuse, and violations of our terms
- Show advertisements and measure their performance, where applicable
- Comply with legal obligations
3. Leaderboards and online play
Tekka is designed for online play against other people and bots. When you participate in ranked or competitive features, your gameplay results and leaderboard standing may be visible to other players inside the app. This is similar to how competitive game platforms display ratings and rankings.
Your internal username and gameplay statistics are used to operate leaderboards and online matches. We do not publish a public player profile on this website, but in-app social and competitive features may show information relevant to gameplay.
4. Analytics and measurement
We use analytics and mobile measurement tools to understand how the Service is used, attribute app installs to marketing campaigns, and improve the product.
- Adjust (mobile app). The Tekka iOS and Android apps use Adjust, a mobile measurement partner, to collect information such as device identifiers, IP address, app install and session data, and custom in-app events (for example app launch and when you start online or offline games). If you sign in, we may share your internal account id with Adjust so events can be linked to your account for analytics. On iOS, Adjust may access the advertising identifier (IDFA) only if you allow tracking in Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, Adjust still runs with limited measurement data. Adjust processes data according to its privacy policy. You can opt out of Adjust measurement at adjust.com/opt-out.
- Google Analytics (website). This website uses Google Analytics to collect usage information such as pages visited, referral source, and general device and browser details. Google's privacy practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy.
Where required by law or platform rules (including Apple App Tracking Transparency on iOS), we ask for your consent before using certain tracking technologies. You can also limit ad and analytics tracking through your device or browser settings.
5. Push notifications
The Tekka mobile apps can send push notifications (for example about friend activity, game invites, or product updates). Notifications are delivered through OneSignal, a third-party push notification service.
We only register your device for push notifications after you sign in and grant notification permission on your device. When registered, we store your OneSignal subscription id and related device details (see section 1) and associate them with your account so we can send notifications to the right devices. When you sign out, we remove that device's push registration from our servers. OneSignal processes data according to its privacy policy.
You can turn off notifications at any time in your device settings (Settings → Notifications on iOS or Android). Disabling notifications stops new alerts but may not immediately delete data already held by OneSignal or us.
6. Advertising
The Service may include advertisements. Ads may be served by us or by third-party advertising partners. Those partners may use cookies, device identifiers, and similar technologies to show ads that may be more relevant to you and to measure how ads perform.
Where required by law or platform rules, we will ask for your consent before using certain tracking technologies for advertising. You may also have choices through your device or platform settings (for example, limiting ad tracking on iOS or Android).
7. How we share information
We may share information in the following situations:
- Service providers. With vendors who help us host the Service, store data, analyze performance, measure app usage and marketing (including Adjust), deliver push notifications (including OneSignal), provide authentication, and deliver ads.
- Sign-in providers. When you use Google, Apple, or another sign-in option, that provider processes your login according to its own privacy policy.
- Other players. Limited gameplay and leaderboard information may be visible to other players as part of online play and competitive features.
- Legal and safety. If required by law, to protect our rights, or to investigate fraud, abuse, or security issues.
- Business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Privacy Policy.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. Data retention
We keep information for as long as needed to provide the Service, maintain leaderboards and account history, resolve disputes, enforce our agreements, and comply with law. When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your choices
- You can review or update certain account details through your sign-in provider (for example Google or Apple account settings).
- You can download a copy of your personal data from Account → Download my data on the web. The export includes your profile, gameplay summaries, friends (usernames only), wallet, and rewards. It excludes other players' private details and security tokens.
- You can delete your account and associated personal data from Your account on the web (Danger zone) or from the game's Account settings (Account tab → Delete account). If you have trouble, contact us at tekkagame@iclasser.com. Some information may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (for example anonymized match records).
- You can enable or disable push notifications through your device settings, or decline the notification permission prompt in the app.
- On iOS, you can allow or deny app tracking when prompted, or change your choice later in Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
- You can opt out of Adjust measurement at adjust.com/opt-out.
- You can limit ad and analytics tracking through your device or browser settings.
12. International users
If you use the Service from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where we or our service providers operate. Those countries may have different data protection laws than your country.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated policy.
14. Contact us
